Reason for Beth Phoenix’s absence

22 Aug

As reported yesterday, “The Glamazon” Beth Phoenix has been removed from the upcoming tour to Australia. Beth Phoenix finally got on Twitter last night to give her fans the reason why she has been gone over the last few weeks. She wrote, “Thank u for all of the support and respect while myself and my family grieves the loss of a loved one.”.

Beth Phoenix pulled from upcoming tour

22 Aug

After being absent from both Summerslam and RAW this week, more rumors will probably be spilling now that the Glamazon has now been removed from the upcoming tour to Australia. She was listed to be appearing on the tour late last week and has since then been removed.

In my opinion, I think maybe she’s taking time off. WWE would be stupid to release her, and I highly doubt that she would quit because this has been her dream forever. It is getting kind of fishy though now that she hasn’t been appearing with rest of the Divas and she is now removed from their worldwide tour.

“Missing”: Beth Phoenix and Kelly Kelly… anyone seen them?

22 Aug

Maybe we should put their photo on a milk carton or something… It looks as if WWE doesn’t even care to use the Pin-up strong Diva, Beth Phoenix. First she was missing at Summerslam while rest the Divas got the “privelage” of dancing to Kevin Rudolf’s song, and she was fakely advertised to be in the Divas battle royal that took place on RAW to determine the #1 contender for the Divas Championship. It’s understandable that WWE doesn’t listen to ‘people power’ but after yesterday, a lot of Diva and Beth Phoenix fans are really upset that she wasn’t involved… they could’ve eliminated her first, gosh.

Kelly Kelly isn’t as ‘missing’ as The Glamazon is but she was also fakely advertised in the graphic for the #1 contender Divas battle royal, leaving the Kelly Kelly marks to go on a rampage and diss Kaitlyn, the winner of the royale, saying she’s not “deserving”. Note to WWE, if the Diva isn’t going to be in the battle royal as advertised, then don’t add their photo in the graphic. You get peoples panties in a bunch.

Anyways, Has anyone seen Beth Phoenix and Kelly Kelly? If so, contact WWE because we miss seeing them on our televisions, especially Beth Phoenix. #WeWantDivas

RAW 8/13/12: Diva’s tag team action featuring the Divas Champion!

16 Aug

Kaitlyn and JTG are shown talking backstage. JTG is complaining how there is a three hour raw, THREE hours and he can’t even get a match. The RAW GM AJ Lee then appears and asks him if he has a problem with her. She tells him to go to the ring because she’s going to find him an opponent. AJ asks her former chickbuster partner is she finds her unstable. Kaitlyn replies that she can find many words to describe her and unstable isn’t one. AJ is happy until she thinks it over and now is confused at the remark. I loved how the chickbusters were used in a short segment together. It bothers me that they got rid of them together when they were really over with the fans and worked really well together, but this segment made me happy since I was a huge fan of them together, as well as JTG finally getting a match!

Also on RAW we are treated to a Divas match. Finally the Divas are getting some time, and it’s exciting! The Divas Champion Layla will be teaming up with Kaitlyn to take on Beth Phoenix (yes, they finally found her.) and Eve Torres. This match is most likely to further the storyline between Eve and Kaitlyn for the assistant spot but nonetheless i’m satisfied as their all pretty solid workers. The match definately wasn’t the best with most botches coming from the champion herself. It was a little sloppy but I still enjoyed it because lets face the facts: 1)There’s rarely any Divas matches 2) The champion is finally on and 3) It was longer than most usual matches that the women get. The match could’ve ended on a better note but Kaitlyn won with  roll-up on Beth Phoenix… in case you didn’t realize this already but I hate roll-ups… especially since the Divas do them to often.

Also happening before the Divas match was yet another segment between CM Punk and Eve. Not sure if these random segments are leading to a possible storyline or they just think that they work well together… which is probably true. Eve walks up while CM Punk is stretching. Eve congratulates him on the new CM Punk. He responds by saying that he’s never changed and Eve disagrees. And to end off all of this Diva excitement, AJ, Layla and Kaitlyn were all shown backstage with a few other NXT Roster Members looking at the damage that Brock Lesnar caused on the car following his attack on HBK in the parking lot.

Also on top of this perfect night, All 4 ladies featured in the match were able to trend Worldwide on Twitter INCLUDING the trend “Divas”. Yes, WWE we do still care. now keep giving us Diva matches that are long and enjoyable. Thanks.

WWE’s newest social networking usage: TOUT

19 Jul

WWE has been known for their use in social networking, especially the recently popular “Twitter”, but this time, their most recent usage is known other than TOUT. So what exactly is this website? TOTU allows a users to record a 15-second video from their device, and then post it to their Facebook or Twitter account.

WWE has made almost all of their Superstars and Divas TOUT accounts, and many of them have aleady used their accounts (Zack Ryder, Alicia Fox, Derrick Bateman, etc.) while many others haven’t.

Below are the following links to the WWE Divas TOUT accounts: (Vickie) (Kharma) (Aksana) / (Alicia Fox) / (Tamina Snuka ) / (Rosa Mendes) / (Kelly Kelly) / (Naomi) / (Cameron) / (Beth Phoenix) / (Natalya) / (Kaitlyn) / (AJ Lee) / (Layla) / (Eve Torres)

Money in the Bank 2012: Divas galore in impromptu matches

17 Jul

The only Diva we were sure to see on the PPV yesterday, was AJ, who was serving as the special guest referee for the match between CM Punk and Daniel Bryan. Who would’ve thought that WWE would give us a present and suprise us with a Divas tag match AND Rosa Mendes at ringside? All impromptu matches!

We’ll start this review out with Miss AJ, who is the special guest obviously. She comes out skipping down the ramp. AJ leaves halfway through the match after being Bryan shoved Punk, leading Punk to hit AJ off the apron and onto the floor. CM Punk then goes to check on AJ and Bryan attacks bunk from behind and throws him into the steps. This allows Bryan to check on AJ before she is helped to the back by a trainer. This isn’t the last we saw of AJ though. Soon after the match continued for a while, AJ made her way back down the ramp, leaving the other referee no choice but to leave. AJ smiles at both men who are laying in the ring, and skips around before heading out of the ring and grabbing a chair from under the ring. She places the chair in the middle of the ring and both men scramble to grab it first. Bryan gets it and hits Punk in the back. To make the match more simpler, CM Punk ends up winning the entire match and retaining his title. AJ looks upset as Punk celebrate with his title.

Rosa Mendes, who was also not scheduled for the PPV yesterday also made an appearance. Mendes accompanied her team, Epico and Primo for a match against the Prime Time Players. At some point during the match, Titus O’Neil tried to “show” Rosa how to do the salsa in the middle of ring while being booed. Rosa at ringside of course wasn’t going to let him have the last laugh, as she does it at ringside, sending the crowd through the roof and getting lots of pops, she sure showed him. Epico and Primo ended up taking home the victory of the PTP, doesn’t this mean they should be #1 contenders now? Seriously. By the way, AW making racist remarks at ringside, is kind of annoying. Just stand there and shut up. Kthanx.

The Divas also had an impromptu match. Not just a one on one match, but SIX Divas will be involved in this one. Kaitlyn, Tamina Snuka and the Divas Champion Layla are set to take on Beth Phoenix, Natalya and Eve Torres.

The generation Divas, Tamina and Natalya kick thing off as Natalya kicks Tamina in the stomach and mocks her superfly pose. Tamina responds with a hop toss and a chop. Kaitlyn is tagged in as she hits a backbreaker and goes for a cover but only gets a two. Beth Phoenix is now tagged in as she stares down Kaitlyn and slaps her. Kaitlyn slaps back and Phoenix decides to tag Eve. Kaitlyn then slaps Eve and Natalya before hitting a crossbody on Eve for yet another two count. Eve elbows Kaitlyn in the face and hits a move for a two count. Beth is now in the ring and she chokes Kaitlyn on the ropes and misses a leg drop. Kaitlyn finally makes it to the corner to tag in the Divas Champion, Layla. Layla hits some clotheslines and does a crossbody off of the ropes. Layla misses a kick to the head and Beth lifts her up over her head now. Layla counters with a rollup, as well all think the Divas match will be over, Natalya makes the save (thank goodness, Rollups are so stupid), and que the sloppy catfights. Kaitlyn throws Natalya out, who is then thrown out by Eve, who is thrown out by Tamina. Tamina superkicks Beth Phoenix and Layla hits the layout to pick up the victory.

Your winners: Layla, Kaitlyn and Tamina Snuka

Superstars 7/12/12: Fox and Kaitlyn take down the Pin-Up Strong

13 Jul

Alicia Fox and Kaitlyn are set to take on the Pin-Up Strong leaders, Natalya and Beth Phoenix. Alicia and Natalya start things off, Natalya applys a waistlock and takes Fox down getting a nearfall. Fox kicks Natalya and spanks her (oh gosh, thought they were gone). Natalya slaps Alicia and hits a monkey flip but Fox lands on her feat and does a headscissors before tagging in Kaitlyn. Kaitlyn dropkicks Neidhart, leading her to tag her partner, Phoenix in. Beth kicks Kaitlyn in the stomach but Kaitlyn comes back with a crossbody, she tags in Alicia who hits a dropkick to get a count. Fox tosses Natalya into Phoenix and does a baseball slide on Beth. Beth then kicks Alicia in the ribs, Alicia does the matrix and hits Beth with a kick.  Beth had enough and tags in Natalya now and Fox chokes her. Kaitlyn is now tagged in, she hits a backbreaker for a two count.

Kaitlyns leg is now hurting, which allows Natalya to take advantage over it. Natalya tags in Beth, as they double team to get a pinfall, but it wasn’t enough. Beth contunues to work on the leg of Kaitlyn as she tags her Neidhart back in. Natalya hits some moves but Kaitlyn is able to avoid the second but Kaitlyn is unable to make the tag as Natalya prevents it. Natalya tags into Beth, who locks up with Kaitlyn. Natalya knocks Alicia Fox off the apron, but she gives Natalya the thesz press. Beth throws Fox through the ropes, but Kaitlyn does a roll-up to get the victory over Phoenix.

Your winners of this bout, Alicia Fox and Kaitlyn.
